To most people outside of California, Anaheim is known for its main attraction – Disneyland. Can you believe that over 24 million people visit Anaheim every year? While the city attracts large numbers of visitors for both business and leisure – it’s food doesn’t seem to be a hot topic. But it’s actually jam-packed with fun activities and delicious foods outside of the house of the mouse. We’ve got a list of the must try, can’t live without, best of the best restaurants in Anaheim.
The Blind Rabbit
This place is an experience in itself – what some might call a virtual time machine. A beautiful speakeasy is the heart of Anaheim. Now while their drinks are their main attraction, we had to add this to our list of best restaurants in Anaheim because it’s truly a unique experience and it belongs on your list of must do’s when visiting Anaheim. The traditional 1920s speakeasy is co-owned by Robert Adamson and wife Ying who were inspired to bring this extraordinary experience to Orange County and they did not disappoint. This hotspot requires reservations and can be booked for weeks in advance and it’s no wonder why. They offer unique cocktails and food that will make your mouth water. If you’d like to visit Anaheim’s very own speakeasy keep in mind they do have a dress code and reservations are required – visit their website for more information. Oh, and you’ll have to find it too!
Reunion Kitchen and Drink
Another amazing spot in Anaheim is Reunion Kitchen and Drink. They describe their food as ‘modern comfort – innovative interpretations on the foods you love’. They have a vast variety of comfort foods so there’s surely something for the whole family. And that was another thing we really enjoyed about Reunion – it’s very family friendly. Their atmosphere is very welcoming and open to diners of all ages – so bring the kiddos along. If you’re visiting Anaheim and looking for great dinner spots you can’t go wrong with this place!
The Ranch
This stunning Western-themed restaurant is much more than a steak-house. It’s friendly staff and inviting country music dance hall take you out of your every-day and into a wonderfully unique dining experience.Their menu is filled with classics like pork chops, lamb chops, and pork ribs. They source very high quality, fresh ingredients and produce – some even grown by the owner himself on his ranch in nearby Orange. They have a beautifully unique array of desserts as well so make sure to leave room!
The Fifth
The Fifth is a rooftop restaurant and bar right across the street from Disneyland. This beautiful restaurant offers delicious food, cocktails, live music, and amazing views. A great option for a relaxing meal with family and friends as The Fifth is very casual and family friendly. You will have a great view of Disneyland park and is one of the best places to watch the fireworks outside of the park. Their menu is full of familiar classics like tacos, nachos, and sliders and one of the best parts – it’s very budget friendly! Definitely had to add this gem to our list of best restaurants in Anaheim!
